Sheikh Ridwan Akkawi Hosts Warm Gathering Followed by Moroccan Dinner.
Reported by-Suprovat Sydney In a heartfelt gathering at the popular Sultano Café in Lakemba, Hon Tony Burke MP, Member for Watson and Minister for Home Affairs , Minister for the Arts , Minister for Cyber Security , Minister for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs , Leader of the House, met with members of the local community on 23rd April 2025 Monday evening 6:30 PM.
The event was organised by respected community leader Sheikh Ridwan Akkawi, who brought together residents and local figures for an evening of meaningful dialogue and shared purpose. Mr Burke spoke about key issues affecting the electorate and listened to concerns raised by constituents in an open and welcoming setting.
Following the discussions, guests were treated to a traditional Moroccan dinner. The aroma of spices and the sense of community spirit filled the café as attendees shared food and conversation.
