Multicultural Unity at Red Shield Appeal Launch


Reported by Suprovat Sydney : The Salvation Army’s 2025 Red Shield Appeal launched nationally with a multicultural event hosted by MultiConnexions Group on 20 June. With the theme “Be Hope,” the campaign calls on Australians to support those in need.

Officiated by Katrina Rathie, the event brought together leaders from diverse backgrounds, celebrating the strength of multicultural Australia. Colonel Rodney Walters and Sheba Nandkeolyar highlighted the importance of community support and compassion.

The Salvation Army aims to raise $38 million by 30 June to fund over 2,000 programs nationwide.
