BSCA Champions Community Care and Compassion

The Bangladeshi Senior Citizens of Australia (BSCA) continues to play a vital role in serving the Bangladeshi-Australian community through various charitable and compassionate initiatives. As a dedicated community organisation, BSCA has been consistently involved in supporting those in need and fostering unity among Bangladeshi migrants, particularly senior citizens.

Some of BSCA’s key ongoing community services include:

  • Visiting Elderly and Sick Community Members:BSCA volunteers regularly visit community members who are unwell or housebound, offering companionship and moral support during difficult times.
  • Funeral Assistance:BSCA provides critical support for individuals in the community who pass away without immediate family in Australia. The organisation helps coordinate funerals and ensures that the deceased are laid to rest with dignity and according to Islamic rites.
  • Helping Those in Need:Whether it’s emotional support, financial hardship, or navigating life challenges, BSCA extends a helping hand to Bangladeshi Australians who require assistance.

Recent Community Visit

In a recent demonstration of their ongoing commitment, Mr. Hossain Arzu and Mr. Mufazzol Bhuiya, two prominent leaders of BSCA, paid a respectful visit to one of the most senior and respected figures in the Bangladeshi community, Barrister Salauddin Ahmed. Barrister Ahmed, a well-known community leader and legal professional, has long been a guiding figure for Bangladeshi migrants in Australia and abroad.

The visit was a heartfelt gesture of respect and solidarity, reflecting BSCA’s values of honouring elders and maintaining strong ties across generations within the community.
