Suprovat Sydney Report: Clr Saud Abu-Samen was recently elected as a Councillor for the Canterbury-Bankstown City Council, representing the Bass Hill/Bura Ward, securing a remarkable number of votes. A dedicated solicitor and member of Community Voice Australia, an independent political party, Saud’s election marks a significant step in his commitment to local governance.

With over 20 years of senior management experience at prominent companies such as Woolworths, Myer, and David Jones, Saud brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Currently practicing law in the local government area, he is passionate about enhancing community well-being and creating opportunities for the youth of Bankstown. As a devoted family man, he cherishes spending time with his seven children.

To celebrate his election victory, Saud hosted an inauguration party at the Yagoona Community Centre on the evening of October 25, 2024. The event was filled with joy, attended by family members, community leaders, doctors, and fellow solicitors, all sharing in the excitement of his achievement.
