Bangladesh Interim Government
Dear Sir,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Md Abdullah Yousuf, and I am a passionate supporter of your work. After 14 years, I am returning to Bangladesh on November 7th, and I wanted to reach out to express my gratitude and congratulations on behalf of the Australian Bangladeshi community.
During my time overseas, I have been heavily involved with my media group, which includes a printing newspaper, website, online TV, YouTube channel, and various social media platforms. My team and I have dedicated ourselves to promoting democracy in Bangladesh, and we have achieved a level of engagement that, to my knowledge, is unmatched by any other Bangladeshi media outlet abroad.
Unfortunately, due to the oppressive actions of the current government, I faced charges under the ICC-DSA, which prevented me from returning to Bangladesh for so long. This situation has greatly affected my family; my elderly mother has been particularly distressed, and communication with my family became strained.
I am also traveling to Umrah with my mother on November 10th, and I would be honored to meet with you during my stay. If possible, I would appreciate the opportunity to meet between November 25th and November 13th, at your convenience.
Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to the possibility of meeting you in person, in sha Allah.
Warm regards,
Md Abdullah Yousuf
