Suprovat Sydney Report: Suprovat Sydney, Australia’s only Bangladeshi community newspaper, has received multiple government and community awards for its dedicated service. The newspaper remains committed to independent journalism, publishing news and community reports without fear or favour.
Suprovat Sydney recently held an important strategic meeting in Ingleburn, NSW, where members discussed several key operational priorities. These included contributing time, skills and expertise according to the newspaper’s needs; providing website management and content-publishing training to team members; and strengthening advertising and sponsorship initiatives to support the publication’s long-term financial sustainability.
Participants also reviewed the website developer agreement and discussed agreements and appropriate hourly rates for freelance writers. Particular attention was given to the successful implementation of the Transformation and Sustainability Project.
All members expressed their commitment to working collaboratively to ensure the project’s success and to strengthen Suprovat Sydney’s future operations. The meeting concluded with dinner.
