
The Bangladeshi Senior Citizens of Australia Inc. (BSCA) held its regular meeting on Saturday, 29 August 2026, in Lakemba, NSW.
BSCA is a non-political, not-for-profit social organisation comprising respected senior community leaders, many of whom have lived in Australia for several decades. The organisation brings seniors together under one umbrella to promote community wellbeing, social harmony and meaningful engagement.
Over the years, BSCA has undertaken a range of community welfare and social development initiatives, earning widespread respect and recognition. Its contributions were also acknowledged through the prestigious “Organisation of the Year” award.
During the meeting, members warmly welcomed several new members and discussed a number of important matters, including the upcoming BSCA Family Picnic 2026. Discussions also focused on community development, seniors’ wellbeing and strengthening social cohesion within Australia’s multicultural society.
The meeting concluded with a special Du’wa, followed by dinner in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
